Louise Dodds is a professional jazz singer. Working with her trio they regularly perform throughout the UK at many prestigious events and venues. They are currently first call for all vocal jazz events at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland.
The 29 year old jazz singer from Edinburgh has come a long way since her early days. Her debut album was met with extensive BBC radio airplay as well as multiple appearances at London’s Pizza in the Park.
Louise's biggest influences - then and now - are, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Anita O’Day, Mark Murphy and Annie Ross.

Things continue to progress for Louise. Not only has her music received airplay, but media interest has also grown with a live interview on the BBC. In addition her career as a whole has taken on new dimensions. “A recent development has been the large amount of requests I have had to work as a session singer for other companies and producers,” she explains. “ I am also spending a lot of time writing my own compositions.”
